SearchDome Inc. started in 2004 after attending an eBay Developer Conference in New Orleans. A software engineer and entrepreneur recognized the potential of eBay's open web service model for third-party developers and built SearchDome.com — a free automated eBay search engine giving users the ability to run customized searches on their own schedule.
